Personalized Injectable Treatment

Botox® and other products such as Dysport® and Xeomin® all work by relaxing the muscles that cause deep lines and wrinkles due to continued movement. This injectable treatment allows us to weaken those muscles and creases that form as a result. It can be done for men and women who are just starting to get wrinkles (preventative) or even for more advanced signs of facial aging. All of our visits include a comprehensive evaluation to understand your treatment goals. The Treatment Process

Our office performs thousands of injections per year, however we do it with a personalized and individual approach for each patient. Precise injections and accuracy are key at our plastic surgery center.

After a full consultation, our injector will cleanse your treatment areas. Once markings are completed, a series of injections are performed with small caliber needles. The treatments are fast and well tolerated. No anesthesia or topical creams are needed, however we are happy to provide it for extra comfort. Pricing is generally based on the number of units used and the areas treated. The more areas treated the lower the price per unit. On average treatments start at $300 per area or $15/unit. There is no downtime with this treatment!

Within 5-7 days of a treatment you should notice smoothing of wrinkles and a refreshed appearance. Using the product regularly leads to longer lasting results. Our goal is to show off the best version of you, not to change your appearance!

Common Questions About Injectables

Each injectable visit is personalized so we try to spend as much time as needed to make sure you are fully informed about the treatment options and products. A typical initial consultation can range from 30-60 minutes. The actual injection procedure is often 10 minutes for Botox® and slightly longer for fillers.
Our office uses all brand name FDA approved products for cosmetic injections. These are the only products that should be used in the US since it is regulated by the FDA. Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® are all brand name products with cosmetic indications for muscle relaxation. Fillers such as Juvaderm, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra and RHA (Revance) are also used commonly.
We believe that natural results are the best method to obtain long term goals. Fillers should be placed to correct lost volume and enhance facial features, but not to look “overly done.” With Botox® or Dysport® you should still expect to maintain regular facial expressions, just with the added bonus of removing wrinkles.
Generally, wrinkle treatment for the forehead, eyebrows and crowsfeet will last 3 months. Fillers can last longer and generally will provide volume for 15 months-24 months depending on the product. We have some products that actually can improve your own collagen long term so the results are seen to provide greater longevity.
While we pride ourselves on providing services with minimal to no downtime, some injectables procedure may occasionally result in small bruises. This is very rare, however topical or oral Arnica can help reduce bruising risks when taken the day of the treatment.
While some rare side effects are reported, we are happy to say that our practice has not experienced these. More common side effects can be swelling, bruising, and inflammation for a few days. These, if they occur, are very self limited and resolve quickly.
Absolutely! We usually recommend a full face evaluation on the day of your visit. Let our staff know your concerns and we will customize the approach. Wrinkle treatment with Botox® and Dysport® can be done on the same visit as fillers.
We provide comprehensive treatment protocols. There are many indications for cosmetic treatments. Once you establish your concerns, we would be happy to offer suggestions on what would benefit you the most.
Botox® and other injectables are generally priced based on the amount of product utilized. Many times we get calls asking our “per Unit” price. While this is a good ball park, most people benefit pricewise from injecting multiple areas at a sitting. Roughly our prices are $15/unit, however it varies based on the amount of areas treated and the density of wrinkles. Fillers start at $700-850 depending on the product selected. Treatments can be tailored to meet your individual budget and desired outcome.
Lip flip is a neuromodulator injection with a product such as Botox®, Dysport® or Xeomin® into the upper lip. By relaxing the muscle around the lip, it can elevate the lip and create a smoother appearance as well as subtly plump the lip. However, for more noticeable volume correction we recommend lip fillers. Lip flip can last 2-3 months while fillers can last 15 months or more.
It’s important to choose quality and experience when seeking out cosmetic injections. The outcome of the treatment is very much related to the level of experience and the number of cases someone has done. Complications also tend to be lower in well experienced hands. Dr. Priti Patel performs thousands of injections per year and has a keen aesthetic eye given the extensive plastic surgery training.
