What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a skin treatment procedure that involves an electric skin needling device. The device contains many very fine needles. It is used during microneedling procedures to break down old scar tissue and push skin cell regeneration. Cell production leads to the creation of new layers of elastin and collagen fiber and leads to improved blood flow in the skin. This provides smooth and hydrated skin over time. Multiple treatments are encouraged.

How does microneedling work?

Microneedling

Microneedling works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen. The idea is that pinpricks from the procedure cause slight injury to the skin and that the skin responds by making new collagen rich tissue.

This new skin tissue is, in turn, more even in tone and texture. It’s normal for the skin to lose collagen via age or injury. By encouraging the skin to make new tissue, there may be more collagen to help make the skin firmer, too.

Microneedlng sessions are $329 for the face.

A package of 3 is $900.

Microneedling with PRP is $695

FAQ's

What is Microeedling?

Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is an innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, our microneedling pen is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin.

What are the benefits?

Microneedling can significantly reduce and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, traumatic scars and stretch marks

What areas can be treated?

Microneedling can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back. The most common area is the face and neck.

How is the procedure done?

Initially, we will evaluate your skin and will apply topical lidocaine to numb the skin and ensure a comfortable and pain-free treatment. Then, a thin layer of topical gel is applied and the pen is gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.

We recommend at home usage of a growth factor serum such as Factor Five to augment the results and build collagen and elastin.
